Like any piece built from reclaimed timber, it carries small chips at a few edges and a hairline crack or two in the grain; we leave these as found rather than disguising them, since they're proof of the wood's age rather than a flaw. At 39.5 inches deep it's proportioned a touch leaner than our 40-inch version, an easy fit for a narrower dining room without losing an inch of the presence a 96-inch table should have.
