Terracotta Vertical Cactus Silk Moroccan Pillow

A vertical diamond column and star-marked corners give this handcrafted Moroccan cactus silk pillow quiet rhythm, hand-stitched in white against a heathered rust ground. Woven from the resilient fibers of the Saharan aloe vera cactus — often called cactus silk or Sabra silk — this pillow measures approximately 19" square. Note: the cover is intentionally sized slightly smaller than a standard 20"x20" insert, giving it a fuller, more tailored look once stuffed — typical of handwoven cactus silk covers, not a sizing error. Finished with a coordinating braided cord along the seams and raw corner fringe. Each piece is one of a kind; small variation in stitch and size is part of its handmade character.

This is a handmade Moroccan cactus silk pillow, approximately 19" square (fits a 20" insert), in rust with a vertical diamond column and quiet, evenly spaced corner motifs.

Q: How long does it take to hand-weave one cactus silk pillow cover? A: Traditionally, a full day or more of weaving plus additional time for hand-stitched embroidery — part of why no two pieces are ever perfectly identical.
