This small Haveli Pedestals are a pair of grounding architectural fragments repurposed for the modern home. Hand-salvaged from traditional Northern Indian manor houses, these candle holders were originally the upper or lower sections of solid Teak structural columns. Their robust, octagonal (eight-sided) form is a classic hallmark of Rajasthani woodworking, designed to offer both physical stability and a rhythmic visual profile.
The timber has been preserved in its original, dark-oxidized state, showcasing a century of character, including deep natural wood checking, weathered grain, and a rich, multi-layered patina. We have integrated a hand-forged iron pricket into each piece, allowing them to hold standard pillar candles with security. Their chunky, primitive silhouette makes them an ideal choice for adding a sense of architectural gravity to Modern Rustic, Japandi, or Wabi-Sabi interiors.
