Carved from solid stone, this antique wall niche—traditionally known as a Gokha—was originally embedded into the masonry walls of Indian Havelis to shelter oil lamps or small votive idols. Each piece is a unique fragment of history, bearing the marks of time, weather, and hand-chiseled craftsmanship. This stone niche features a waw, porous, and tactile with a wabi-sabi matte finish.

While originally architectural, this carved stone niches they make exceptional candle holders, perfect for a tea light, meditative desktop accents, or sculptural shelf decor. Place a single tea light inside to cast dramatic shadows and recreate the warm glow of the ancient corridors they once illuminated. They also look incredible when styled in pairs in your garden or patio.
