Stacked diamonds trail down the center of this handcrafted Moroccan cactus silk pillow, echoed by star motifs at each corner, hand-stitched in white against a rich rust ground with natural tonal streaking. Woven from the resilient fibers of the Saharan aloe vera cactus — often called cactus silk or Sabra silk — this pillow measures approximately 19" square. Note: the cover is intentionally sized slightly smaller than a standard 20"x20" insert, giving it a fuller, more tailored look once stuffed — typical of handwoven cactus silk covers, not a sizing error. Finished with a coordinating braided cord along the seams and raw corner fringe. Each piece is one of a kind; small variation in stitch and size is part of its handmade character.

Q: What's the difference between cactus silk and jute or sisal? A: Cactus silk (from agave) has a soft, lustrous hand-feel similar to real silk, while jute and sisal are coarser plant fibers typically used for rugs — cactus silk is chosen specifically for its softer texture.
