Hand-carved from a local hardwood, this musical instrument from the mountains of Nepal is traditionally called a sarangi or lute. This antique Nepalese sarangi is finely carved with a slim face handle with a group of seven village people at the end (has 1 missing). This antique musical instrument is missing the leather cover and strings but it can still be admire as a piece of tribal art.
