This exceptional Trumeau mirror is a striking relic of French elegance and 18th-century artistry. The style, evoking the charming, pastoral scenes (fête galante) popular in the late 18th century, gives the piece a profound sense of historical romance. The frame is finished in a bold, aged deep teal/blue-green color, which enhances the antique, distressed patina. Its most captivating feature is the hand-painted oil panel set into the frame. The entire mirrored surface is divided into three sections, with each glass portion being beautifully bevelled, a distinct sign of its quality and age.

Measuring a commanding 42 inches wide and 63 inches high, this mirror serves as a breathtaking focal point above a mantel, a console, or in a grand entryway, lending a profound sense of historical romance and refined drama to any Transitional, Eclectic, or Traditional interior.
