This Anglo-Indian chaise lounge is handmade from reclaimed teak wood with a scroll shaped support on one side and standing on traditional turned legs. This beautiful Indian lounge bench features a finely carved and inlay design all around with a precious tree of life design across the seat with ivy design on the legs and the back. Not all inlay is created equal, fine inlay work on wood is a delicate time consuming process in which the artisans create intricate designs and patterns using small pieces of contrasting material, which are carefully fitted into previously carved out wood surfaces. Ideal to use as a seating bench in your living room or dining room, it’s ready to be treasure for years to come. Upholstered in a cotton blend plain weave fabric, this royal sofa is ready to be upholstered with the outer fabric of your choice. The inlay Indian sofa has medium brown walnut color with a waxed finish.
