An architectural gem from India, this robust antique carved beam is hand carved from teak wood and is adorned with mythical animal carving at each end and scrolled work across the top of the moulding. This antique teak carving was originally used as molding on the ceiling of historic havelis of royal families. This antique Indian beam was found in Goa and shows traces of its original white painted finish showing age and oxidation.
