Primitive and beautifully hand-carved wooden milk jug from the tribes of Nagaland. This vessel is adorned with geometric tribal designs, a rope handle and a side handle that is a carved stylized form of a monkey. Originally this jug was used for milking or storing milk or butter.This pot has a thick encrusted patina with traces of usage and old age. Great piece to use with dried flowers or faux greenery.
