Hand-carved from single logs of indigenous hardwood in West Africa. The Tuareg community are a nomadic group traveling across the Saharan desert. Each bowl is unique featuring a fine decorative engraving with geometric lines or tribal design. These beautiful African bowls have a deep rounded shape and then have been used to transport and store milk and food. These bowls are authentic and will show wear, possible cracks. They might also have a distinct scent as the bowls were used in the preparation of food items.
