Originally found in the villages around Hindu Kush mountain. This wooden bowl was originally a kitchen artifact used for kneading dough. This old Swati bowl is chunky, primitive and carved out from a single wooden fragment. The Swat Valley wooden vase has a decorative carving motif of a flower in the center and an oversized handle. It has a distressed white painted patina. Naturally aged finish is normal with prolonged use and cleaning.
