Antique Carved Wood Tribal Ganesha

A rare tribal Ganesha carving from Orissa that was salvaged from and old wooden chariot. Ganesha, the Hindu God is known to bring positive energy, this Ganesha sits on a carved throne holding a ladoo (an Indian sweet) and a pet mouse at the foot of the throne. This piece wears a oxidized worn wood finish with traces of paint.
