Primitive Ivory Coast Ceremonial Senufo Bed

Carved from a single hardwood log, this Senufo bed was used for ceremonial purposes, in addition to being used for lounging and sleeping. This bed features a horizontal polished plank base that stands on four cone shaped legs with a raised headrest on one end.
