Majestic wooden twin lotus petal shaped tikka box. These boxes slide open and feature and hand carrying handle thats is a carved figure of a horse. These charming mid-century tikka boxes were used to store "Sindoor" powder known as vermilion that is traditionally worn by married women in the part of their hair. It depicts a sign of marriage. The carving on this exquisite tikka box is chiseled by artisans in Rajasthan.
