A striking carved daybed crafted from reclaimed Burma teak. Featuring a backless modern silhouette resembling those from a palace in Gujarat, India. Ideal as a lounge or daybed this piece has an intricately platform base that is hand-carved on all sides with turned legs and stretcher. It's adorned with an arch apron, miniature carved spindles and carved chakra circles. This lovely lounge bed includes a custom French style tufted mattress made from heavy cotton.
