These antique Javanese Loro Blonyo marriage dolls depicting husband and wife from the 19th century. The statue are hand carved from wood and have a naturally oxidized aged patina. In Java, the statues are referred to as "Loro Blonyos" which can be translated as "inseparable couple". To the Javasese, they symbolize harmony and hospitality.
