This antique Tibetan monk cabinet showcases a beautiful painted front each panel with a dragon and floral motifs. This cabinet is entirely painted in warm tones with natural pigments from flowers and minerals. It has ample storage space with an upper and lower compartments each accessible through the front double doors. The cabinet doors are removable and have no hinges but rather open and close on wooden pegs. The of the cabinet has three drawers, such a cabinet was used to store ceremonial clothes and was also used as an altar.
