Antique Southeast Asian Karen Tribe Basket

Handwoven storage basket woven by the native people from the Akha tribe in Thailand. This basket was woven utilizing a robust double weave and incorporates bamboo splines for greater structure and stability. This basket shows a lovely aged patina and wear from daily use to store textiles or household goods.
