Exceptional early 19th century English secretary cabinet with a drop down desk. This antique Chinoiserie style English cabinet is made from bamboo and features a top shelf with a small cabinet compartment, a drop down desk and a drawer below. It stands on rounded bamboo legs and retains its original painted finish with a bird and flower motif. This antique tall cabinet has a black lacquer background with stencil work in gold and red.
