The Naga tribe are an agriculturally based community from North East India. This beautiful rice grinder used to hull grains during the harvest seasons. This tall Naga planter is carved from a single piece of local forest wood, it is hand-hewed and hammered and hollowed out from the inside. It has a ring trim design and wears an aged distressed patina and would make for a wonderful rustic planter or tall vase.
